This move aims to improve civil servants’ standard of living and address the economic challenges posed by inflation and rising costs of living. However, while the announcement has been made, the implementation of this new wage has yet to be reflected in workers’ salaries across the board.
The federal government utilizes The Consolidated Public Service Salary Structure (CONPSS) to determine the remuneration of civil servants.
