Fully written in Go, it’s the fastest GraphQL Router available and a quite potent (and complex) piece of cutting-edge open-source software. How about joining our team to make it even better and strap the rocket boosters onto GraphQL Federation?

You’re not just any marketer, you’re the kind who lives and breathes startup energy. You’ve seen what product market fit looks like, and more importantly, you know how to build the engine that scales it. WunderGraph is at that pivotal moment: we’re onto something huge, and we need someone who knows how to throw rocket fuel on it.

You’ve grown SaaS companies before, ideally dev first, API-native and now you’re ready to do it again. You don’t wait around for things to fall into place; you build systems, run experiments, crush funnel metrics, and shape the story that makes the whole market turn its head.

This is the most exciting stage of a startup, and you’re hungry to be in the driver’s seat, owning and scaling demand gen, pipeline, brand, and everything in between. One day you’re sketching out a new GTM motion, the next you’re launching a campaign that triples qualified leads. You’re scrappy, data-obsessed, creative, and focused on results. Let’s go.

TEAM INTEGRATION

  • Experiments fuel innovation: A culture of rapid experimentation and iteration helps uncover new channels, messages, and tactics that unlock further growth.
  • Revenue acceleration is data-driven: Marketing is directly tied to measurable revenue outcomes, crushing targets through intelligent attribution and performance tracking.
  • You’ve created the marketing machine: A high-performing team runs on a proven GTM playbook, delivering consistent execution across campaigns, content, and channels.
  • Marketing is strategic, not reactive: It’s not just a function, it’s a core driver of the company’s trajectory, tightly aligned with sales, product, and leadership.

ROLE TASKS

Your day-to-day includes, but isn’t limited to:

  • Own and evolve the Go-To-Market strategy across all channels
  • Run growth experiments across the funnel and see what works best
  • Launch integrated campaigns (digital, content, partnerships, events)
  • Shape and refine messaging and positioning that speaks to developers, platform engineers, and CTOs
  • Build, track, and optimize the marketing funnel with precision
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Success for alignment and shared goals

Senior Product Designer EMEA

Specifications:

Description:

As a Senior Product Designer at WunderGraph, you are the connection between what our users will find most helpful and what our engineers build. Considering the users also happen to be other developers, this becomes an interesting challenge to think about the Developer Experience as the User Experience. You combine sharp user insight, craft, and pragmatism to deliver experiences that are elegant, usable, and built to scale.

This is a wide-reaching role, as design roles at a startup should be. One week you might be running user interviews to shape a new feature; the next, refining our design system or designing a marketing landing page. You ground your work in evidence rather than assumption, partner closely with product and engineering, and turn what you learn about users into a clear, informed UX strategy that guides where we go next.

TEAM INTEGRATION

  • Reports to the VP of Product; is part of the Product team
  • Aligns closely with the CEO (Product) and Head of Customer Success (customer experience and business impact)
  • Collaborate within the Product team with the Delivery Lead and the Design Engineer
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, product, and customer success

ROLE OBJECTIVES

You are successful if you:

  • Take ownership of the complete design lifecycle, bridging the gap between initial discovery and final delivery for web and product interfaces.
  • Cultivate an evidence-based UX strategy that leverages user research and data to steer the product’s evolution.
  • Oversee the growth of a unified and extensible design system that spans both our product and marketing efforts.
  • Convert user insights and organizational objectives into pragmatic, human-centric solutions engineered for long-term scalability.
  • Advocate for excellence in accessibility, responsiveness, and performance as fundamental pillars of your craft.
  • Provide mentorship to the team, sharing expertise in research methodologies and design principles.
  • Refine the visual and functional identity of WunderGraph through meticulous and high-impact design work.
  • Impact high-level product strategy by demonstrating how user-focused decisions drive tangible business impact.

ROLE TASKS

The role focuses on, but is not limited to:

Product Design

  • Design and prototype user flows, interfaces, and interactions with scalability in mind.
  • Own design problems end to end. From initial concept through execution and iteration after launch.
  • Rapidly produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, exploring multiple concepts and iterating quickly.
  • Define and evolve our design system and component library, keeping it consistent and maintainable.
  • Partner closely with engineers on feasibility, quality, and handoff, contributing to technical decisions (and coding where you’re comfortable and it helps as a plus, not a requirement).
  • Introduce advanced prototyping, interaction design, and motion practices.

UX Research & Strategy

  • Plan and conduct user research across discovery and validation via user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and competitor analysis.
  • Turn ambiguous product questions into decision-grade research that maps to real product and design decisions.
  • Synthesize findings into clear insights, personas, journey maps, and opportunity areas that the team can act on.
  • Build and maintain a shared insight repository so learning is reusable, searchable, and available to everyone.
  • Translate research into an informed, evolving UX strategy that guides the roadmap and anchors design direction in real user needs.
  • Advocate for the user in prioritization and roadmap discussions, and define what “better” looks like through clear UX success metrics.
  • Run discovery workshops and share insights so research shows up where decisions are made like in design reviews, product planning, and standups embedding user knowledge from the get-go.

Web & Brand Experience

  • Own the design and evolution of WunderGraph’s web presence.
  • Deliver assets that span product and marketing: landing pages, visuals, campaign graphics, and interactive components.
  • Shape and maintain a cohesive style guide, balancing design innovation with consistency.
  • Support brand storytelling with motion graphics and interactive elements.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Senior-level experience in Product Design or UX/UI Design, with a strong portfolio of shipped work.
  • Proven experience planning and running UX research (both generative and evaluative) and turning findings into strategy.
  • Proficiency in Figma, prototyping tools, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong background in UX and interaction design, accessibility, responsive design, and usability.
  • Experience contributing to or leading design systems and component libraries.
  • Comfortable using data and research to inform and defend design decisions.
  • Working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript a plus) enough to collaborate closely with engineers.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and collaboration skills in English.
  • A self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and can lead initiatives independently in a fast-moving startup.
  • Comfortable working 100% remotely in a distributed team.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for team retreats and workshops.

Why WunderGraph?

  • Work from wherever you thrive—we’re fully remote and globally distributed. If you’re in Miami, come work with us in person! We also provide co-working space options worldwide if needed.
  • Pick your preferred work hardware
