Description:

As a Customer Service Officer (Entry Trainee – Entry Associate level) at Providus Bank, you will be the face of the bank, delivering exceptional service to both retail and corporate clients. Given our strong focus on advanced IT infrastructure and digital channels, you will be responsible for guiding customers through our digital banking solutions, managing account services, resolving complaints, and cultivating strong banking relationships within the Edo region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-class customer service by attending to walk-in clients, phone calls, and official correspondence promptly and professionally.
• Educate and assist customers on the use of Providus Bank’s advanced digital channels, mobile applications, and electronic banking products.
• Efficiently handle new account openings, updates to existing customer accounts, and routine inquiries regarding balances or transaction histories.
• Cross-sell the bank’s tailored business solutions and retail financial products to existing and potential customers.
• Maintain a secure, clean, and highly professional front-desk and service area in accordance with bank standards.
• Collaborate with internal operations and IT support teams to ensure a seamless service delivery experience.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Second Class Lower (2:2) or Lower Credit from a recognized tertiary institution.
• Usually fits entry-level banking requirements (typically 26–28 years of age or below at the time of application).
• Strong computer literacy and comfort with navigating modern digital platforms, financial software, and banking applications.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in local dynamics or widely spoken languages in Edo State is beneficial.
• High emotional intelligence, professional appearance, patience, and a strong problem-solving mindset.
