Technical Support Specialist (French Speaking)

Description:

• Provide customer support via phone, chat, and email, ensuring timely, clear, and helpful responses to customer inquiries.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues customers experience with our SaaS platform, including software functionality, configuration, and integrations.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Product Development and QA, to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
• Document and track customer inquiries, issues, and resolutions in our support system.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to knowledge base articles and support documentation.
• Assist with product demonstrations and customer training sessions when needed.
• Stay up to date with the latest product features, enhancements, and industry trends to effectively support customers and provide valuable feedback to internal teams.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a technical support, customer support, or call centre role, within a SaaS or technology environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues clearly and effectively.
• C2-level French and English proficiency, including excellent written and spoken communication skills. You’ll support customers in both languages via phone, chat, and email.
• Willingness to work shifts. The main shift for this role is 9 AM to 6 PM CET.

Hostaway is seeking a highly motivated Senior Product Designer to take end-to-end ownership of the mobile experience that property managers and vacation rental hosts (B2B) and their guests (B2C) rely on every day. Our mobile app is where our users run their business on the move, approving bookings, messaging guests, resolving issues, and staying on top of their portfolio from anywhere and this role owns how that experience looks, feels, and performs.

You will drive the full design lifecycle: From strategic discovery to meticulous, platform-native UI delivery while crafting intuitive, scalable experiences for iOS and Android that directly influence user adoption, retention, and business growth. Leveraging data and user insights, you will shape mobile-first feature journeys, refine critical on-the-go touchpoints, and define compelling experiences that align with both user value and Hostaway’s objectives.

This position is designed for senior-level individual contributors who want to maximize their impact on product and design strategy, leading by expertise. Your Mission

• Own end-to-end mobile design for iOS and Android, from strategic discovery through native UI delivery and implementation support.

• Turn user and business insight into on-the-go mobile experiences that measurably improve adoption, retention, and growth for property managers and their guests.
• Evolve Hostaway’s mobile design system and raise the bar on quality, accessibility, and craft across the apps.
• Shape the mobile product strategy. Spotting opportunities in research and data, defining a roadmap of high-impact design bets, and championing the user in decisions about what we build next.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 7+ years designing complex digital products (ideally SaaS), with a strong portfolio that includes shipped, native mobile (iOS and Android) work.
• Deep expertise in mobile UX/UI craft, information architecture, interaction design, accessibility, and platform-specific patterns. With a high level of proficiency in interactive prototyping. We are using Claude Code for our design process with the source of truth being the code. We are using Figma less and less as the weeks pass.
• Demonstrated fluency using AI tools across the design thinking process: Research synthesis, ideation, prototyping, and validation, paired with the judgment to know when and how to apply them.

Description:

Hostaway is seeking a highly motivated Senior Backend Engineer to join the Core team. This team is responsible for the integrations with our key partners (Online Travel Agencies). These integrations are critical to our customers’ daily workflows, powering seamless connectivity between their properties and major booking platforms. If you’ve worked on similar tools that handle huge volumes and interact with a variety of complex APIs, you’ll be a great fit!

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and operate backend services in PHP and Go.
• Drive the extraction of services out of our monolith, defining clean boundaries, ownership, and migration paths.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to shape the technical direction and ensure our backend services deliver maximum value.
• Design and ship APIs built for agentic interfaces — making our guest-facing domain consumable by AI agents and automated workflows.
• Improve page speed and end-to-end performance, working closely with frontend peers since conversion depends on it.
• Contribute to high-level architectural decisions and help us move quickly without accumulating regret.
• Leverage AI to accelerate code delivery — we provide a Claude Team Premium subscription and expect engineers to use it well.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer, with a strong foundation in software engineering,
• Strong-level proficiency in PHP and/or Golang, with a strong willingness to dive into both.
• Proven experience designing and operating high-traffic, customer-facing systems.
• Experience decomposing monoliths or extracting services, with a pragmatic view on when to do it (and when not to).
• Solid experience designing APIs — REST, GraphQL, or similar — with an eye on clarity, versioning, and consumability (bonus if you’ve built APIs for AI agents or LLM-driven clients).
• Familiarity with transitioning event-driven service-oriented architectures by applying Domain Driven Design (DDD) principles
• Comfortable using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) as part of your daily workflow, and able to get real leverage out of them.
• Experience working in a Cloud environment (AWS is a plus).
• Experience with message queues (e.g., AWS SQS) is a plus.

Description:

As a Senior Backend Engineer on our AI Team, you’ll focus on integrating AI services into Hostaway’s product. You’ll turn raw data and models into polished, customer-facing features by working in Python, building APIs, services, and UIs together with the Frontend engineers that make AI useful for property managers and guests.

You’ll work closely with product and platform teams to ensure AI components slot seamlessly into our SaaS ecosystem – from automation workflows to customer insights dashboards.

What you’ll do:

• Design and build services that integrate AI into customer-facing features.
• Develop performant and scalable APIs and backend services that connect AI outputs to SaaS functionality.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to create intuitive AI-driven user experiences.
• Partner with platform and integration teams to embed AI into existing systems and workflows.
• Implement observability, monitoring, and error handling for AI services in production.
• Contribute to evolving our AI integration stack (Python SDKs, MCP servers, LLM orchestration).

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 5+ years in backend engineering, ideally SaaS.
• Strong Python proficiency
• Experience with REST APIs and SaaS integrations.
• Familiarity with LLM/AI tools (LangChain, Vercel AI SDK, MCP servers).

• Comfortable working alongside Python-based AI services and bridging stacks.
• Nice to have: experience with PHP + Golang
• Strong collaboration skills – able to integrate work with platform and product teams.
