The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has officially announced its 2026 Recruitment Exercise for qualified Nigerians interested in working with the Corps. According to the recruitment notice, the online application portal will open on Friday, 3 July 2026, and applications will be accepted for four (4) weeks from the opening date. The application process is completely free, and interested applicants are advised to submit their applications only through the official FRSC Recruitment Portal while avoiding fraudsters demanding payment.

General Requirements
Candidates must meet the following general requirements to be eligible for the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) 2026 Recruitment Exercise. Failure to satisfy any of these conditions may result in disqualification from the recruitment process.
- Be a Nigerian by birth.
- Be between the required age limits for the cadre applied for.
- Be computer literate.
- Be medically, physically, and mentally fit.
- Be single.
- Have a minimum height of 1.65 metres for males and 1.58 metres for females.
- Possess a valid practising licence where applicable.
- Be of good character and free from financial indebtedness.
- Have no criminal record.
- Have no tattoos on any part of the body.
- Use a personal email address and phone number during application.
- Ensure all qualifications and certificates are declared during the recruitment process, as undeclared qualifications will not be accepted later for career progression.
- Prospective applicants who are pregnant are advised not to apply.

Educational Requirements by Cadre
Applicants must also possess the minimum educational qualifications specified for the cadre they wish to apply for. The required qualifications vary depending on the position and must be obtained from recognised institutions.
Officer Cadre
Superintendent Route Commander (SRC) – CONPASS 11
- MBBS/MBBCH.
- NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
Route Commander/Deputy Route Commander (RC/DRC) – CONPASS 10/09
- B.Pharm, B.Sc Nursing, BMLS, LLB/BL, or B.Eng/B.Tech in Engineering.
- NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
Assistant Route Commander (ARC) – CONPASS 08
- B.Sc, BA, or HND.
- NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
Marshal Inspectorate Cadre
Marshal Inspector II & III (MI-II & MI-III) – CONPASS 07 & 06
- NCE, ND/OND, RN/RM, or CHEW.
Road Marshal Assistant Cadre
Road Marshal Assistant II & III (RMAII & RMAIII) – CONPASS 04 & 03
- Minimum of three (3) credit passes in SSCE (WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB), including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
Drivers, Riders and Artisans
Applicants for positions such as Drivers, Motorcycle Riders, Mechanics, Electricians, Tailors, Plumbers, Computer Operators, Instrumentalists, and other trades must possess:
- Minimum of three (3) credit passes in SSCE (WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB).
- Trade Test Certificate and/or other relevant professional certificates.
- Appropriate class of valid Driver’s Licence (for drivers and riders).
- Physical and mental fitness.
- Articulated/Tow Truck Drivers must be between 26 and 40 years of age.
Required Documents
Applicants should ensure they have the following documents before applying:
- Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age.
- National Identity Number (NIN).
- Educational certificates relevant to the position applied for.
- NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate (for degree and HND holders).
- Valid professional licence (where applicable, e.g., Medical Practitioners, Nurses, Pharmacists, Medical Laboratory Scientists, Lawyers, etc.).
- Trade Test Certificate and/or other relevant professional certificates (for artisans).
- Valid Driver’s Licence (mandatory for drivers and motorcycle riders; an added advantage for other applicants).
- Certificate of Medical Fitness issued by an approved government hospital.
- Printed copy of the online application form (required during the screening exercise).
