Cashier

Description:

We are seeking a trustworthy, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Cashier to join our LPG station team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing customer payments, maintaining accurate sales records, balancing daily cash transactions, and delivering excellent customer service while supporting the station’s daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process payments for LPG refills, cylinder purchases, and other products.
• Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Operate the POS system and handle cash, transfers, and other approved payment methods.
• Reconcile cash and sales at the end of each workday.
• Prepare daily sales and cash reports.
• Attend to customers professionally and respond to basic inquiries.
• Ensure the cashier\’s workstation is clean, organized, and secure.
• Report any cash discrepancies, POS issues, or suspicious activities promptly.
• Support inventory and sales record updates when required.
• Comply with all company policies, financial procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of OND, or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a retail environment is an added advantage.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with POS systems.
• Strong numerical and record-keeping skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Honest, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Officer to drive the growth of our LPG and gas business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our bulk and retail Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) products and gas accessories, expanding our customer base, building strong client relationships, and driving sales across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote the company’s Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) products and gas accessories to individual, commercial, and corporate customers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase market share.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and key stakeholders.
• Conduct market surveys to identify customer needs, competitor activities, and emerging market trends.
• Prepare and deliver product presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective clients.
• Develop and execute marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility and customer acquisition.
• Achieve assigned sales and marketing targets.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and business opportunities.
• Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure excellent customer experience.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor\’s Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years\’ experience in marketing, sales, or business development, preferably within the energy, oil and gas industry.
• Strong understanding of customer acquisition and relationship management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of digital marketing and CRM tools is an added advantage.
