Edo State University Iyamho, was established by the Edo State University Iyamho Law (2014) and subsequently amended to Edo State University Iyamho, Uzairue. It was further amended as Edo State University Iyamho.

The purpose for establishing the University is to meet the increasing demands for quality tertiary education in Edo State in particular and Nigeria in general.

  • A Ph.D. with at least 3 publications plus 3 years post qualification experience; M.Sc. with at least 5 publications plus five (5) years relevant post qualification experience
  • Must be the lead author in 2 publications and 2 must be in circulation; M.Sc. with at least 8 years relevant experience. This shall apply only to candidates from industry.
