Description:

The Automation Engineer is responsible for managing, optimizing, and maintaining industrial automation and control systems across production operations. This role ensures the reliability and efficiency of PLCs, SCADA, and related systems, supports troubleshooting and maintenance activities, and drives continuous improvement through automation initiatives. The position also plays a key role in implementing projects, enhancing process performance, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

What We Ask

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in industrial automation, preferably within FMCG or manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMI/SCADA systems, and process control systems.

Technical Expertise

• Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and industrial control systems.

• Familiarity with CMMS/MMS systems and integration with automation platforms.
• Understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).

The Legal Counsel at FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria Plc will execute the Company’s Legal agenda through innovative global legal strategies.

This position of Legal Counsel involves the continuous provision of timely and effective legal interventions by ensuring that FrieslandCampina’s global legal structures are adopted and executed within peculiar yet dynamic business environments. Additionally, this role will include stakeholder relations and management with necessary third parties, as well as upholding the Code of Ethics at both internal and external levels.

Moreover, the Legal Counsel shall support the Company Secretary in delivering legal and company secretarial functions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); BL from Nigerian Law School is required.
• Minimum of 7 years post-call experience, preferably within FMCG, manufacturing, or a reputable law firm.
• Strong experience in commercial law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
