Social Media and Community Manager

Description:

Day Translations is hiring a Social Media and Community Manager to grow our online presence, build meaningful relationships, and connect businesses with our translation, interpreting, and localization services.

You will own our social media planning, original writing, publishing, daily engagement, and performance reporting. We are looking for someone who understands B2B audiences, brings creative ideas, and actively participates in the conversations that matter to our clients and industry.

What you will do

• Develop a practical social media plan and maintain an organized content calendar with clear topics, audiences, goals, and deadlines.
• Research our services, customers, industry developments, and competitors; turn credible information into useful, accurate posts with a clear point of view.
• Write original English captions and post copy in our brand voice. Adapt the message and format thoughtfully for each platform. Final writing must be human-written.
• Prepare clear briefs for our Graphic Designer, coordinate assets and approvals, and schedule or publish completed posts.
• Check copy, links, tags, formatting, and visuals before publishing and review posts after they go live.
• Respond to comments and messages promptly during agreed working hours, start relevant discussions, and build relationships with clients, prospects, linguists, and industry communities.
• Monitor brand mentions, moderate conversations professionally, and route sales inquiries, service questions, and sensitive issues to the right team.
• Manage priority channels such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, YouTube, and Threads, and learn additional platforms as our priorities develop.
• Track relevant engagement, reach, website traffic, and qualified inquiries. Share a concise weekly report with results, lessons, and next actions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• roven experience managing social media accounts and engaging an online community, supported by examples of your own work.
• Strong English writing, sound judgment, and the ability to communicate warmly and professionally.
• An understanding of B2B marketing and how useful content builds trust and supports business inquiries. Professional-services experience is helpful.
• Confidence with content calendars, scheduling tools, platform analytics, and adapting posts for different audiences.
• Curiosity about languages, cultures, translation, interpreting, and localization; industry experience is welcome, and a willingness to learn is essential.
• Reliable organization, initiative, and follow-through in a remote team, with full-time availability and agreed overlap with US Eastern Time.

Description:

Day Translations is hiring a creative Graphic Designer to produce original, professional visuals for our social media channels, advertising, and marketing materials. We help businesses communicate across languages through translation, interpreting, and localization.

You will take design projects from the initial concept to finished artwork, combining strong artistic judgment with careful production. Your main responsibility is creating the visual assets our team uses to communicate, promote our services, and strengthen our brands.

What you will create

• Social media graphics, multi-slide carousels, infographics, campaign artwork, and promotional designs.
• Digital ad creatives and visual variations for campaign testing.
• Banners, profile covers, YouTube thumbnails, and artwork for Stories and Reels.
• Website and email graphics, presentation slides, flyers, and brochures as needed.
• Original icons, illustrations, and reusable branded templates.

Your responsibilities

• Turn a brief, audience, and message into clear visual concepts; present your ideas and explain your design choices.
• Use typography, color, composition, spacing, and imagery to create distinctive, readable designs.
• Edit and retouch photographs, combine images, and create vector graphics.
• Apply brand guidelines consistently while bringing fresh ideas to each project.
• Adapt artwork for different platforms and placements; check mobile readability, contrast, cropping, and safe areas.
• Work with approved copy and accurate information about our services, languages, and international business.
• Incorporate feedback, meet agreed deadlines, and deliver organized, editable source files with correctly sized final exports.
• Check artwork for spelling, alignment, image quality, and properly licensed assets before delivery.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A strong graphic design portfolio demonstrating original concepts and polished execution.
• Excellent typography, layout, color, photo-editing, and visual storytelling skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, or equivalent professional tools for image editing and vector design. Figma, InDesign, and Canva experience is welcome.
• The ability to create custom designs, follow a brief, and explain your decisions.
• Clear English communication, attention to detail, dependable turnaround, and openness to feedback.
• Experience with B2B or professional-services brands is helpful. Motion graphics, animation, and video editing are welcome additional skills.
